Tucson Sunshine Chorus
Sunday, November 21, 2004, 3:00 p.m.

This men's chorus has been entertaining the Tucson area for many years. It is made up of men of all ages and backgrounds and includes our own Jack Statler. They sing barbershop style as well as sacred music. Come for a great afternoon of harmony.

Lissa Staples and Marie Sierra
Sunday, January 16, 2005, 3:00 pm

Lissa Staples has been a well-known singer with the Arizona Opera and in musicals for years. She has a lovely voice with dramatic range. Her accompanist, Marie Sierra, is also well-known in the community, as well as at the University of Arizona, as an outstanding accompanist.

Tucson Flute Ensemble
Sunday, February 20, 2005, 3:00 pm

The Tucson Flute Ensemble is an audition-only group from the Tucson Flute Club. It performs regularly in recitals throughout the area. Music includes jazz, baroque, classical and other pieces. Our own Lillian Porter is a member of this group. This is another example of our aim to spotlight performers from within our own part of the country.

Angeline Ng and Friends
Sunday, March 6, 2005, 3:00 pm

Angeline Ng is a well-known concert pianist here in the Tucson area who has performed internationally. She brings with her three friends: Pierre Herbineaux, a world-renowned virtuoso harmonica player; Melissa Hamilton, who will play "Butterfly Concerto," and Deena Reedy, who just completed a CD of contemporary arrangements of sacred pieces with Ms. Ng for flute and piano.
