Dr. Stuart Deaver is on the Music Faculty of East Central University in Ada, OK. He has performed piano in the United States, Japan, Germany, and Portugal. Original Wildcat Jass Band
Sunday, January 14, 2007, 3:00 pm

The Original Wildcat Jass Band came to our series three years ago, and we dearly loved the joy and enthusiasm they gave to their music. These five musicians from the U of A Music School are a joy to listen to. You’ll be dancing in the aisles!

U of A Vocal Jazz Groups
Sunday, February 11, 2007, 3:00 pm

These young people, under the direction of our own Dr. Elizabeth Schauer, love to sing and it shows. They do their own percussion as well as the vocals in very close harmony. Toe tapping is the order of the day when these groups perform.

Heidi Tims
Sunday, March 25, 2007, 3:00 pm

Heidi Tims comes to us from the U of A group, HarpFusion. Ms. Tims is finishing her doctoral degree in harp and is Dr. Carrol McLaughlin’s teaching assistant. Last spring, she gave a 7-day concert tour in Mexico. She has also performed in Spain and Ireland and has received the Graduate Creative Achievement Award from the U of A.
