enrichment class is added for children ages three through
kindergarten.
Vacation Bible School
One week of morning activities and mission
projects for children/youth, three through high school age. Parent
volunteers are always needed and welcome! (Child care is

Weekday Programs for Children
St. Mark's Early Childhood Center offers
programs for working parents as well as a two, three and five-
day morning preschool program. For further information,
phone 797-2925.
Christian Education Sunday
This Sunday will highlight the educational
opportunities provided by St. Mark's. The teaching staff
will be consecrated into service and Bibles will be presented
to the third grade students.
Christmas Program
The entire Sunday morning Sunday School
will be invited to participate in this special Christmas presentation
( 3 years through 6th grade). Notification of the date
and time will be sent home in advance.
Blessing of the Children
A meaningful service for children and
parents. A time on Christmas Eve to begin the celebration
of the Savior's birth. At this early evening service, each
family will receive the traditional "St. Mark's ornament" for
their tree as well as prayers for the children and adults.
Teacher Appreciation/Farewell Sunday
This is a time in May for the congregation
to say "thank you" and "farewell" to the
volunteer teaching staff for their nine months of dedication
and caring.
Elementary Summer Camps
To encourage the children of St. Mark's
to participate in the Desert Southwest Conference camping program,
the church will share one half of the camper's program fees. This
ministry will help students focus on their relationship with
God and to make connections with peers and counselors that will
help them to know they are valued and loved.
Church Family Camp
Church Camp is held in the fall. This
weekend camp for members and friends of St. Mark's is a great
time to relax and enjoy the Chiricahua Mountains together. Hikes,
crafts, games, campfires and fellowship make this an event for
all ages.
