Health and Wholeness Ministry

Mission Statement: Through the ongoing efforts of our volunteers, the Health and Wholeness Ministry will promote the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and well-being of the St. Mark's community.

Vision Statement: The Health and Wholeness Ministry of St. Mark's seeks to fulfill our mission by offering education in the areas of healthcare and spiritual wholeness; providing information about issues of health and well-being; and identifying community resources. Our mission does not include providing hands-on medical or nursing care, or offering diagnosis or treatment of any condition.

Theological Basis for a Health and Wholeness Ministry

• Jesus called his followers to "preach, teach and heal."

• Matthew 4: 23-25; Luke 14: 1-6; Luke 7: 18-23; John 14: 12-14; Matthew 28: 18-20
