Are You Ready for Some Monday Night... Nutrition?
Four individual classes, presented by our Health & Wholeness Ministry.

Mondays at 6:30 p.m.

Leader: Amy Drescher, PhD, RD
            
Amy is a local dietitian who likes to eat healthy, but loves to eat! Information is research-based,
             but also reality-checked. All ideas are tested on her own busy family, which includes three
             growing boys!


Materials fee: $5/person, per class. (Limit $10/family, per class.)
                       Attend all four; get the fourth one free!

                       You are invited to attend any or all of the classes. Please RSVP by                     
                       contacting the church office by the Wednesday prior to the class you 
                       wish to attend.

Children are welcome, or childcare is available by advanced requested.

Sept. 13 Healthy Eating for Families on the Move: Quick and Easy Meals for Busy People (That Taste Good, Too!) 
Come and sample some budget-friendly ideas.
Sept. 20 Meal Planning: Developing a System That Works for You
Whether you cook for one, two or a family (tips for seniors and parents of picky kids, too), learn low-tech methods as well as using free tools on the internet.
Sept. 27 Eating for a Healthy Heart
Learn about nourishing your heart and body with the latest in cardiac nutrition. Treatment and prevention of high blood pressure, high cholesterol and triglycerides will be discussed. Recipe demonstration and samples!
Oct. 4 Do This, Not That -- What Really Helps With Weight Loss?
Dispel myths and learn how to develop a smarter way of eating. Stop the weight gain and the "mindless eating." Learn from the latest research on promoting successful weight loss and maintenance.
