Rev. Richard Jones

Pastor for Congregational Care

Richard grew up in Chattanooga, TN and attended college and seminary there. While he was in school, Richard worked at a couple of churches. Then, with his wife Mindy, they moved to Ft. Myers, FL, where he served as associate pastor, and worked in the church school. Their daughter Bethany was born there. After Florida, they moved to Huntington, WV where Richard served as associate/youth pastor. Their son Tyler was born in Huntington.

Richard and his family moved to Tucson in 1999 to serve as youth director at Catalina United Methodist Church. Although he was an ordained minister, this was a lay position. That opportunity morphed into associate pastor for contemporary worship and youth. He then served as pastor at St. James and now St. Marks.
